Asset support checked against Circle documentation
Circle’s Gateway documentation describes one unified balance per asset across supported chains. EURC deposits credit EURC, and cirBTC deposits credit cirBTC. Gateway does not perform an exchange between those balances.
Documented routes as of 31 October 2026
| Asset | Supported mainnet networks |
|---|---|
| EURC | Arc, Ethereum, Avalanche, Base, Solana and World Chain |
| cirBTC | Arc and Ethereum |
The table follows Circle’s asset-specific guide. Both ends of a transfer must support the same asset. Token issuance on a chain does not by itself establish Gateway availability there: the guide lists EURC on Cronos and Stellar but excludes those chains from Gateway.
Separate the clocks
- Deposit: A source-chain deposit must meet the required confirmations before the balance is credited.
- Established balance: Circle advertises access in under 500 milliseconds after the balance is established. This is Circle’s claim, not a latency measurement by ChainResearch.
- Fallback withdrawal: The documented trustless withdrawal option has a seven-day delay. It is separate from the advertised fast-transfer path.
Consult the supported-blockchain and confirmation reference before integration. Fast-deposit options have their own eligibility and costs; the headline speed should not be read as the total time from a new deposit.
Integration checks
Before sending funds, verify the asset, source and destination networks, contract addresses and amount precision in the current official documentation. The same ticker on two networks is insufficient evidence that a particular route is supported.
Update, 31 October 2026: Added verified primary documentation and the route matrix, and removed an unverified launch-date claim. This page reports documentation; it does not claim a live deposit or withdrawal test.
